Cardi B and her boo Offset shared the stage to get the night started! Cardi slayed as usual but check out Offset’s dance moves!
Lil Nas X brought out Billy Ray Cyrus and both arrived on horseback to perform the hit “Old Town Road.” This is probably the only time you’ll see a country star on stage at the BET Awards. Lil Nas X’s two step might have been my favorite part of the night!
Lizzo def stole the show! She asked the audience, “Do you want cake?” and that’s exactly what she gave them! Lots of cheeks and her entire performance was done on a wedding cake! Displaying her many talents she whipped out a flute and went to work while twerkin’!
Aunt Mary took us back with all the cuts! She didn’t need anyone to honor her legacy she did it herself by performing all her hits. Lil’ Kim and Method Man even hit the stage to help with the duets “I can love you” and “You’re all I need”. Queen Mary had the whole crowd moving and singing along to every word she definitely deserved the Lifetime achievement award.
Da Baby and his “muscles” performed his hit single “Suge” alongside two dancing babies who joined him on stage. The blow-up babies had the stage lit!
DC was in the building and they will not be silenced! Host Regina Hall killed it on stage with Sugar Bear as they performed “Do you know what time it is?” and “Da Butt” with a #DontMuteDC tribute for the culture and go-go music.
The Migos and Mustard had everyone in the staples turnt up with their performance of pure water. Take off definitely took his moment to shine while all of them took the time to “Two Step” and killed it!
The Marathon continued when Marsha Ambrosius, YG, DJ Khaled and John Legend performed a soulful and superb tribute to the late Nipsey Hussle.
