Congratulations to P.K. Yonge girls basketball coach Willie Powers.
On Monday night, the Lady Blue Wave defeated visiting Madison County 50-42 to give Coach Powers his 500th victory. Powers has an overall record of 500-162 with eight final four trips to Lakeland, two state championships and one State Runner Up finish, plus 18 district championships.
