Establishing himself as a clean comic, his down home southern humor has made him a favorite in the nation’s top comedy venues. From intimate comedy clubs to sold out crowds at Madison Square Garden, the Universal Amphitheater and the Lincoln Center, Rickey’s unique style of humor resonates with his audiences unlike any other comic on the road today.

 

Best known as host of the 2000 season of BET’s ”ComicView”,Rickey led the show to its highest jump in ratings in the show’s ten-year history. BET then quickly signed Rickey to host “The Way We Do It” during the 2001-2002 season, and that show went on to become one of the top five shows on the network. It’s his genuine love of performing that has brought Rickey many accolades on stage, on camera and off. He was a guest presenter on the 2001 NAACP Image Awards and hosted the special awards banquet for the 2002 Stellar Gospel Music Awards. In his personal life, he finds time to devote to church, to charities, to the Big Brother Program, to family and to the 352 right here at Magic 101.3! to family and to the 352 

It all started when I was a little jalapeño in Houston Texas... yes that's where I was born.... and yes... I am the only Mexican weatherman in Gainesville- now THAT'S a blessing!

 

I was raised in West Palm Beach, where the beaches are hot with even hotter---- well fill in the blank! I love pizza, Cuban food, Mexican food...ANY food, really! Look at me, they don't call me Big G for no reason! 

 

I attended the Connecticut School of Broadcasting and graduated the highest in my class, with a concentration in production and recording. After that, I went on a small roadtrip to Gainesville and ended up staying! Currently, I'm the Local Producer for The Rickey Smiley Morning Show, and you can catch me givin' you all the weather and traffic updates you need to get you where you're goin'- EARLY!

You already know you can rock wit me weekdays, 11am-3pm inside The Midday Magic Show! They call me The First Lady of Magic 101.3, so I try to hold it down for my girls! I'm originally reppin' the 305, but for the past 6 years I've called the 352 home! The saga began, in Flatbush NY, where the prodigy was born and bred. He departed the streets of Brooklyn at the age of 8 to reside in Gainesville, FL where he became...DJ Terrah. With music in his soul and drive in his heart, he looked up to heavy hitters like DJ Red alert, Grand master Flash, Kid Capri,Dj Enuff  and Funk Master Flex. At the tender age of 13, a fortunate turn of events led to the first step in making the dream come true. Terrah was offered an opportunity to intern for WTMG Magic 101.3, an urban radio station in Gainesville. Under the guidance of seasoned DJ's, Terrah was given the opportunity to shine on air during a weekly mix show as the youngest DJ in Magic history. In 1999, Terrah was given the opportunity to intern for Funk Master Flex, an event that forever changed his life. As a member of Flex's street team, Terrah hustled hard and remained humble, knowing one day his chance would come. While with Flex he was given the opporuntity to open for DJ Kaori, a DJ on Flex's squad, Big Dawg Pitbulls. Terrah maintained contact with Flex and his crew, but his heart was true to his roots with Magic. Currently Terrah maintains a daily mix show during the Drive at 5 on Magic. He is one of the most requested DJ's in the Gainesville Ocala area spinning at clubs, concerts, car shows and on the air. Terrah is also the regular DJ for the Florida Invitational Step show, one of the largest step shows in the Nation.Dj terrah made history in Gainesville to be the first Dj ever in Gainesville to be on Rap city the Basement B.E.T, a television show that telecast over 300 million Listeners worldwide. Terrah has opened up for some of the biggest acts in the game including Gucci Mane, Jeezy, Trick Daddy, Plies and the legendary Run DMC just to name a few.  At Market 79 in the country, number 1 in the market and with BDS status, Terrah blazes the air waves of Magic daily representing for the streets of Gainesville.

What can I say about me? I'm the TRUTH! LOL, I was born on July 18, 1990 at Shands hospital right here in the heart of Gainesville, Fl. and I was raised in Bronson, a small town just 45 minutes outside of Gainesville. I've been a huge music lover since birth, so radio seemed like a perfect fit for me. I've always been a fun-spirited person who lives life to the fullest, one day at a time.

 

I've got big plans and big goals so if you're not with me, move out da way! I plan to continue to further unite the community through fun events,  elevate the local music scene and provide good times to all listeners.

 Q: What do you like to do in off time??
 A:  Research new independent music, chill with friends and family, take a ride in the F-150 ;)

 A:  Being able to send positive vibes out to thousands of people at ONE TIME.

 Q:  If you could give one word of advice, what would it be?
 A:  Always wear a smile on your face. Positivity can take you further in life than u may think so. 

 

What's REALLY up?! It's ya boy D Blaze! I don't really know where to start so I guess I'm just gonna say that I'm from right here in the 352, Bronson! You can normally catch me on the air on Saturday nights from 7p-12am, while you're on your way to the club, LOL! I love working in radio because I love music. Period. I also love to talk and interact with different people. When I'm not on the grind on the air, I attend school and do my thang at my OTHER job!

My favorite food is Ramen Noodles and my favorite drink is Kool-Aid-- yeah, I KEEP IT 100! All day, every day! Catch me on the airwaves shawty!  

The International DJ Codeman was born in Chi-Town and recently moved to Gainesville to begin his radio debut.  He is also a veteran producer, who frequently drops his remixes on MAGIC and all over the internet.  He is known for his quality beats and synths, smooth tempo and key beat matching, and making the beat drop.  You can catch him weekly during the mixshows from 12-1.
